Hallo liebe Freunde des szenesounds Am Donnerstag, 02. August läuft von 15-16 Uhr bei ALEX in Berlin auf UKW 88,4 und in Potsdam auf 90,7 MHz. wieder das szenesoundsRADIO mit aktuellen Bandinterviews und Szenenews. Diesmal mit KWIT aus Berlin live im Studio und I COME FROM THE SUN aus Leipzig live am Telefon. Beide Bands hab ich beim Emergenza Newcomer-Festival in Berlin kennengelernt und letztere hat es am 06.07. beim Deutschland-Finale im "Astra Kulturhaus" sogar ins Weltfinale beim Taubertal-Festival geschaft. KWIT: Kwit was Formed together by the roots of another Band, "Fudge Epidemic", back in February 2010. By the End of 2010 there were only 2 Members left in the band, A guitar player, and Harry, the Drummer. These two boys decided to give the band a new name; KWIT. In the next few months, the band formed into what was to become the original line-up for Kwit. Janek Denzler, A young guitar player, soon joined the band in November 2010. Next, The guitar player was released and Harry decided to play guitar and sing. By the time of April 2011 the band took their current Bassist; Oscar Pursche (He would stay in the band for about a Year). One month later the band completed their search for a Drummer and they found Leonard Ster. Then, one month later, june 2011, Kwit had their first two Gigs; one 'warm-up' gig, Fete de la musique, berlin and, as they call it, their first official gig, the Kellerband Featival in the Spirale Berlin. Since then Kwit have been building a fan base, getting recognition, writing songs, playing gigs and doing what they love more than anything else in the world: Playing Music. I COME FROM THE SUN: Stilistisch zelebriert die Band um Sänger Florian Becker eine musische Mixtur aus emotionaler Zerbrechlichkeit und lärmenden Lo-Fi Rock. Im Gewand einer klassischen Rockformation schmettern I come from the sun Popmusik typische Songstrukturen und verspielte Arrangements von der Bühne. On Stage präsentieren sich die vier Musiker als ungeschliffene Diamanten in ihrem unverfälschten und authentischen Lifestyle. Kein Gepose, kein aufgesetztes Gequatsche. Es geht ganz schlicht und einfach um die Musik, das Publikum und dieses leise Knistern in der Luft. Seit 2010 arbeiten I come from the sun an Ihrer eigenen Musik. Ihr Livedebut gab die Band im Januar 2011 im Flower Power Leipzig. Für das Jahresende 2012 ist die Veröffentlichung der ersten EP geplant.
