Am Donnerstag, 19. April läuft von 15-16 Uhr bei ALEX in Berlin auf UKW 88,4 und in Potsdam auf 90,7 MHz. wieder das szenesoundsRADIO mit aktuellen Bandinterviews und Szenenews. Diesmal mit dem Singer/Songwriter HENRIK KÄTHE live unplugged im Studio und einer Interviewaufzeichnung vom 06.04. im Berliner Quasimodo mit EAMONN MCCORMACK & Band. Ein besonderer Dank gilt hierbei EAMONN MCCORMACK und seiner BAND, die im Quasimodo einen wirklich super Auftritt hingelegt hatten.

HENRIK KÄTHE
Am 27.04.2012 erscheint seine erste Soloplatte "Alles Auf Null" in Form einer EP mit 6 Songs - allesamt Lieder, die sich in den vergangenen Jahren angesammelt hatten. Im Unterschied zu den früheren Songs sind die Solostücke auf deutsch, etwas "songlicher" und man hört eher die kompositorisch bestimmende Akustikgitarre heraus. Textlich geht's um Dinge, die er in der vergangenen Zeit bei ihm oder bei Personen in seiner Umgebung beobachtet hatte, wobei er bei der Umsetzung bzw. den Texten eine Neigung zu geschichtenerzählerischem Stil hat. EAMONN MCCORMACK & Band
One of the finest blues rock guitarists to emerge from Ireland. Eamonn built his name as "Samuel Eddy" across Europe throughout the eighties and nineties by constant touring and festival appearances. Feeling close to burn out Eamonn took a six month hiatus from the road that turned into eight years and lasted until late 2009 when he returned full time as an International artist. In 2009 the critically acclaimed "Kindred Spirits" album was released featuring special guests Rory Gallagher (his last studio performance), Jan Akkerman, Herman Brood and Keith Donald. Am Donnerstag, 05. April läuft von 15-16 Uhr bei ALEX in Berlin auf UKW 88,4 und in Potsdam auf 90,7 MHz. wieder das szenesoundsRADIO mit aktuellen Bandinterviews und Szenenews. Diesmal mit der Rockabilly-Band BONSAI KITTEN und den HAFERFLOCKEN SWINGERS aus Berlin live im Studio.

BONSAI KITTN: The idea to the band BONSAI KITTEN was founded by the singer Tiger Lilly Marleen from Berlin in 2004. After a while she could engage three skilled musicians for her female fronted band-project. With Hajo-Sun on guitar, Alexx DeLarge on drums and Krczycz on doublebass BONSAI KITTEN were complete in 2005.

HAFERFLOCKERN SWINGRS: A warm sound and the groove that puts you in the best mood, the Haferflocken Swingers is a one of a kind party highlight! This underground swing band based in Berlin has gained the reputation of bringing its audiences high energy shows with great original music. The band keeps the music colorful by maintaining a fun mix between many genres ranging from big band swing, with a hint of Rock n?Roll to blues and boogie and a dash of Calypso and brass band music. Large influences have been New Orleans traditional jazz and Louis Prima´s jiving swing band of the 1950´s.
